Barons Pub Company provides exceptional placement opportunities that encourage, support and guide students through an informative and inspiring year in industry. Barons is committed to delivering students with a transferable set of skills, knowledge and experiences in employability as well as industry focused. We firmly believe in providing an environment for students to develop professional and personal skills and attributes to advance their future career opportunities and provide them with choice.

Barons has fantastic connections with Bournemouth University and Royal Holloway University of London. With alumni from Bournemouth and Surrey Universities, Barons understands the needs and wants of students allowing us to offer the most beneficial and enjoyable placement year. Barons offers paid 12-month university placements in Business Management and Hospitality. Both placements offer:

  • Paid placement with holiday entitlement
  • A training programme that rotates quarterly in different departments to develop knowledge and experiences in different areas of the business
  • The opportunity to attend various workshops & achieve multiple qualifications through our training academy
  • Working under the Compliance and Training team with a personal mentor appointed to support through the placement year

Graduate Schemes

Barons offers competitive 1 year graduate schemes that further develop individuals into competent professionals. The Graduate scheme will be available for different roles in the business. When joining the company on our Graduate Scheme individuals will also be put through a Level 5 Apprenticeship in Management.

Upon completion of the graduate scheme, individuals will be given the opportunity to apply and join Barons Pub Company on a full-time contract in an environment for continuous development and learning opportunities.
